In anticipation of their new Sweet Studio (slated to open on April 14 - watch this space), Ian Burch and Darren Purchese are set to give Melbourne an advance sampling of their sweet genius at a two-day pop-up studio in the CBD.

After unforseen delays with the fit-out of their new South Yarra Sweet Studio, the team claim that they can’t wait any longer to get back to baking and have extended their stay at the Careers Australia kitchen, where they prepped for Food and Wine Festival appearances with fellow Brits (and Melbourne Food and Wine Festival international guests) The Jellymongers; Bompas & Parr.

The anticipated Sweet Studio in South Yarra, designed by Joyce + Made architects, is set to be a multi-story wonderland of bespoke cakes, edible bubbles and chocolate gardens, complete with an interactive flavour wall. But if –like the Burch and Purchese team - you just can’t wait, grab a taste of what’s on offer as the Sweet Studio Pop-Up boils away this Thursday and Friday in the city.
