If a fox on the head of a leggy lady in a paprika coloured long jon isn’t enough to draw you in then I’m not sure what will. The fox is a hand knitted scarf mind you, and both are made by local Melbourne label TV, who recently began selling their wares at Topshop in the UK.
With a history of independent designer collaborations with designers such as Christopher Kane and Richard Nicoll, Topshop now want foxy Australian designs by TV. And so designers Monika Tywanek and Ingrid Verner have sent over nine pieces from their latest autumn/winter 10 collection titled Nothing But Flowers, to be stocked in Topshop stores across the UK.
With an ever increasing international fan base for the elegantly eclectic range, Tywanek and Verner had always planned to sell their pieces overseas, and began doing so recently with a very positive response from Europe, Asia and America.
Pieces from their bold collection include graphic floral prints, sculpted knitwear and technically tailored garments in yellow highlighter and perforated biro demin.
Melbourne label TV will be available in Topshop (UK) stores and on topshop.com from this month. But don’t go all the way there to get it, you can find it right here - www.tvthelabel.com
