Vanishing Elephant’s modern, gentlemanly aesthetic has made it a fast favourite for stylish men who don’t want to look like fashion victims. Their classic sensibility is infused with a contemporary touch, making for compelling prints and cuts. With its Laguna Beach, California roots, streetwear label Stussy seems a world away from the Vanishing Elephant way of life, but this hasn’t stopped the two brands from collaborating on a summery range.
The 10-piece collection is based around two specially designed prints – an animal-filled, forest green jungle scene and an avian-leaning pale blue design of exotic birds and plants. The prints adorn shorts, shirts and backpacks, accompanied with relaxed chinos and denim shirts. Vanishing Elephant’s signature tan leather Derby shoe has also been reworked, bestowed with a bright red rubber sole and a whole new attitude.
Vanishing Elephant x Stussy is in store from tomorrow (Thursday December 8) at Incu, General Pants, [Vanishing Elephant](](http://www.broadsheet.com.au/melbourne/fashion/directory/shop/vanishing-elephant) and online.
