Ever since Lover opened its flagship store in Sydney earlier this year, the ladies of Melbourne have had their fingers crossed that the label will set up shop down south. For now we’ll have to settle for the next best thing – the annual Lover Jumble Sale.
So count your pennies and take a stroll down Chapel Street, Prahran to get your hands on a heavily discounted collection of past stock and sample pieces. This means plenty of Lover’s signature lace numbers, as well as grown-up interpretations of cute, childhood favourites like skorts, Peter Pan collared shirts and holy communion-esque white dresses.
The current Lydia autumn/winter collection is up to 50 per cent off and for all past collections, there’s nothing over $150. Maybe not having our own store isn’t so bad after all.
