High fashion and Westfield Shopping Centres don’t necessarily go hand in hand, but with the impending arrival of the Westfield Give Ability Store, Doncaster will be your best bet to pick up a pair of Alexander McQueen heels among many other fashion desirables.
The clothes are pre-loved, donated by celebrities, designers and retailers. And the best part? It’s all for a good cause, with 100 per cent of all sales going towards helping kids with cerebral palsy.
The perspex-walled pop-up space will grace the Doncaster Centre Court for about a week, with new stock added daily. The counter will occasionally be manned by one of the generous few to have donated goods to be sold.
The designer goods available include labels like Collette Dinnigan, Karen Walker, Yeojin Bae, Deadly Ponies, Zimmerman and Vanishing Elephant, while the list of generous celebrities and fashion fans who have contributed includes Naomi Watts, Rose Byrne, Anthony LaPaglia and event ambassador Miranda Otto.
You can have a sneak peak at some of the most coveted pieces in a photo shoot directed by Nicole Warne of Gary Pepper Vintage and model/photographer Zanita Whittington.
The Give Ability Store will be open at Westfield Doncaster from Tuesday 26 to Sunday 31 July.
