In July, we took a trip south of the river to Toorak Road and Chapel Street in South Yarra. We saw plenty of ankle-length coats in wool and gabardine, and outerwear that ticked every box on the red-brown spectrum – burnt orange, blush pink, merlot maroon, and good old reliable tartan. The sun was shining, and the tees, shorts and skirts were out. One month to go folks – winter's almost over.
