After 12 long months and following the success of his cult t-shirt concept store T-Bar, fashion maverick Oliver Tilsley has opened new Australian accessories store, Who is HUE, at Melbourne Central in the city (and then one at Chadstone only a week later). Designed to fill a gap in the market, Who is HUE offers simple yet fashionable accessories at affordable prices, and presents a playful brand energy, conveyed through its product and environment.

The shop itself is located in Melbourne Central’s new retail concept space known as The Intersection, a series of cubes housing innovative, up-coming designs. Featuring a bold and masculine fit-out designed in conjunction with architect Luke Stokes, the space stands strong with bold geometric shapes throughout, whilst still remaining intimate and inviting due to its diminutive 50-square-metre layout.

The accessories themselves echo the playful theme whilst still retaining a classic simplicity sure to last the test of time. Designed by Oliver, the range features high-quality handbags in all sizes including clutches, carryalls, wallets and coin purses in the softest of leathers. Additionally, Oliver values the opinions of his clients and injects customer feedback into each new line, providing a unique, almost bespoke experience.
