Fashion designer Lisa Gorman says over the years she’s had many requests for Gorman to do dog coats in its bold and colourful prints.
A range that would raise funds for Guide Dogs Australia was exactly the rallying call she needed to get started on the collection.
Together with Elk, another Melbourne-based fashion label, Gorman produced a range of dog accessories with all proceeds from sales going to Guide Dogs Australia to fund its Guide Dog services.
Both collections launched on Friday, and the Gorman range (including doggie coats in four different prints and various sizes) sold out by Monday, raising $32,027 for Guide Dogs Australia.
Elk produced a collection of leather collars and leads, which are still available if you hurry.
The Elk collection is available online and in boutiques.
