Amid the clink of billiard balls, laughter and the growl of grunge, Broadsheet photographer Arianna Leggiero pulled up at South Yarra’s ’70s-inspired party bar Leonard’s House of Love to capture Sunday-afternoon style.

Revellers opted for slogan T-shirts, utility wear and streetwear, with nods to ’80s punk – denim, tartan and Doc Martens – or looks on loan from the great outdoors (think practical mountain satchels, fleeces and spray jackets from North Face and Patagonia). And no look was complete without some form of ink, a cold beer and a basket of fried chicken.
