As winter draws to a close, the tricky dilemma of trans-seasonal dressing has been solved by layering separates from the same tonal colour palette. Muted, natural and warm hues – such as beige, camel and cream – prevail. Commuters are also swaddled in robe coats, the effortlessly elegant style dominating fall-winter 2019 runways overseas.
Everybody’s still wearing strong suiting, but now it’s coming out in more daring colours, updated with fresh white sneakers. Thankfully high-waisted denim lives on (accessorised with fun socks), and oversized bomber and puffer jackets could be seen in full force.
