The holiday season is just around the corner (yes, really!) and finally, we’ll all be able to wind down for a couple of months. But streetwear label Nique is streaks ahead their new summer collection, Slow Down, a selection of which will be featured at a pop-up store in St Kilda alongside sale items from the previous season.
The duo behind Nique, Nick and Lucy Ennis, have marked their current collection with their distinctly comfortable and relaxed aesthetics – all soft flowing cotton and draped jersey. It’s these winning points that have attracted distributors from as far as the Netherlands, a long way from the designers’ humble beginnings working out of the loft of their West Melbourne warehouse. Nevertheless, the label’s inspiration is still predominantly home-grown, with Melbourne being the designers’ primary source of inspiration.
Located in St Kilda, the pop-up store will open until the end of October, when the space will be renovated and replaced with a brand new permanent outlet. No doubt the new store will keep Nique’s signature sleek aesthetic already present in the label’s other Australian stores.
Nique Pop Up Store runs until October 31
