Alice Euphemia’s Personal Best Fashion Sale
155 Gertrude Street, Fitzroy
513 Chapel Street, South Yarra
As reported last week, much-loved Melbourne retailer Alice Euphemia kicked off an ethical and sustainable affair yesterday with her north-side Personal Best Fashion Sale. Australian labels including Celeste Tesoriero, Gary Bigeni, Karla Spetic, YEVU, Kowtow, Vege Threads, Tlux, LP33.3, Serpent and the Swan, Alas the Label, Roopa Pemmaraju, apparel, Bhalo and more feature. All products included encapsulate “best practice” methods (are not mass produced, use organic materials and dyes, are up-cycled, profit philanthropic causes, utilise eco-conscious materials, are recycled/vintage or are produced locally). The sustainable collection of clothes is priced at up to 80 per cent off, so while you’re supporting better practice, you’ll also be scoring a bargain. The event is taking place in Fitzroy at the moment but will move across to the south of town next Wednesday, meaning Melburnians from all sides of the city can indulge. Cash and EFTPOS facilities both available.
