Can you imagine a world where you could function normally without ever having to leave your bed? Well, that dawn is upon us – almost – thanks to Poler Outdoor Stuff’s innovative way with a sleeping bag.

Poler is an American company that makes useful items – camping gear, bags, apparel – with a unique versatility. A highlight of its new spring range, the Napsack is a sleeping bag that can be worn: the onesie of the camping world.

Complete with arm holes and a cinch at the bottom, it can be hiked up and worn as a coat, meaning you can shuffle straight from your tent to the festival toilets at 6am without having to get dressed. (Or straight from the campfire to bed, if you prefer more romantic imagery.)

The spring range also features a classic duffel bag that doubles as a backpack, and a cute carry-on sized duffel. There are old-school rucksacks with pouches aplenty and internal padded laptop sleeves, plus panniers for your bike.

Our particular favourite is the Poler Camera Cooler; a dual-purpose bag that can be used as both a camera bag – with padded dividers that hold a DSLR, lens and accessories – and (once inserts are removed) a soft-sided cooler with optimal space to hold a six-pack or lunch.

Follow Poler’s adventures on Instagram, and start planning your own: be it a Tassie trek, a Great Ocean Road trip or a Centennial Park picnic.
