Finding the right pair of jeans is sometimes as tough as the raw denim they’re cut from. With so many styles and washes, it’s tempting to keep going back to the same brand you’ve been wearing forever just because you know they’ll fit. But if you pretty much stick with straight leg and slim, it’s definitely worth checking out the range from Australian label Neuw. Founded by Par Lundqvist, Stephen Little and Richard Bell, the brand concept was born when Par started re-cutting his collection of vintage jeans to develop new shapes - a process the guys now call ‘vintage revision’. Considering the affordable price tag, Neuw’s fits are pretty good - particularly the ‘Iggy Skinny’ and ‘Lou Slim’ which still leave enough room in the places you need it. Our pick though is the classic ‘Jimmy Straight’ in dark raw denim.
