Homewares and accessories store Hunting For George is pulling out the big discounts on Boxing Day. The brand’s own planter pots will be 30 per cent off, art prints will be 25 per cent off, and quilt-cover sets will be discounted by 25 to 70 per cent. If you can’t be bothered leaving the house on Boxing Day, the same discounts will be available on the online store.

Los Angeles-based label Reformation doesn’t have sales too often. But when it does, items are snapped up pretty quickly. Discounts in the label’s current sale climb up to 50 per cent off, so if you’re looking for affordable, ethically made and playful pieces, act fast.

If you haven’t already maxed out the credit card, there’s up to 70 per cent off at Moda Operandi. Lots of interesting summer items are on offer including statement-sleeve tops by Johanna Ortiz and Ellery, denim by Re/Done and shoes by Nicholas Kirkwood and Maryam Nassir Zadeh.

Men’s and women’s items are up 60 per cent off here. The 91-page selection of clothing, shoes and accessories in the women’s section predominantly covers winter items, but there’s a healthy smattering of trans-seasonal pieces, too. Girlfriend Collective
Girlfriend Collective is a US leggings brand the internet has been raving about for six months. For one week, it’s offering a free bra with every pair of leggings purchased. Use the code TREATME. The brand’s leggings are made from recycled polyester (which are in turn made from disposed water bottles) and come in high-rise, mid-rise, full-length and ¾-length sizes.

A selection of items from Holiday’s first collection is on sale including a bright red swimsuit and palm tree-print pants. Sydney designer Emma Mulholland’s label is all about casual vacation vibes.

Selected luggage, bags and wallets are up to 50 per cent off at Crumpler’s end-of-season sale. Lots of uni-ready backpacks are included in the sale plus smaller cross-body bags and bum bags (just in time for summer music festivals). Boxing Day will offer further markdowns.
