As we shake off the winter coats, kick off our boots and banish those knits back to the wardrobe, Melbourne prepares to give us yet another reason to get excited about the warmer weather – all the fashion that comes with it.
Melbourne Spring Fashion Week is here and it seems like the whole city is getting involved. From an RMIT fashion photography exhibition to a food truck brigade, Melbourne Central is hosting a plethora of activities throughout fashion week.
Get your lashes lengthened this week by Gorgeous Cosmetics. They’ll be setting up a lash bar for application today (Tuesday) between noon and 4pm.
Some of Melbourne Central’s key stores, including Gorman, Jolie & Deen, AG, Alannah Hill and Thurley present a progressive runway, making its way through Melbourne’s CBD and ending at the shopping centre.
If a peek behind the scenes of MSFW gets you as excited as the front of house, check out the RMIT Fashion Photography Exhibition, an intimate look at RMIT student runway shows, the process of constructing garments and the country’s fashion history in an exclusive photography exhibition.
Some of the tastiest food vans kicking around Melbourne head into the city to set up shop in MacIntyre Lane. Beatbox Kitchen will be in on Tuesday, Taco Truck Wednesday, Dhaba on Thursday and Gumbo Kitchen on Friday.
