Bringing us some of the boldest styles in specs and sunnies, October sees the relaunch of iconic Italian fashion label Moschino's SS10/11 collection. But this ain't simply a relaunch, this time round the high end fashion label collaborate with charity organisation, Brotherhood of St Laurence, to launch a campaign with profits from the sale of the re-released range assisting families and children in need across Australia.

The unique partnership follows similar overseas trends - such as YSL’s recent initiative with disadvantaged teens in London - where luxury brands are developing collaborations with a social imperative, working with demographics well outside their core purchaser.

The range will include 25 styles of optical frames and another 12 styles of sunglasses varying in design and detail. Prices begin at $389 and $329 for optical and sunglasses frames respectively.

Keep you eyes peeled for the iconic limited range Lolita-esque heart shaped frames in red, which made stage appearances on rock stars including Madonna and Kurt Cobain.

The Moschino range will be available in Australia through Mod-Style wholesale optical distributor.
