Colourful Melbourne homewares label Arro Home has been a popular online store since it launched in mid-2014. It’s just gone IRL with its first bricks-and-mortar opening on Brunswick Street in Fitzroy.
With a clever team behind it that includes designer Beci Orpin and entrepreneur Adam Rogers, the brand has become known for its geometric designs and bright pastel colours.
Arro Home’s first retail store has been open a couple of weeks and is already selling out of some items, such as a velvet cushion with an embroidered eye design: “We can’t produce them quick enough, ” Rogers says. The new store features a wide range of rugs, cushions, glassware and tableware.
The Brunswick Street store also includes items from the past three collections. Orpin says, “I try to design the collections so you can buy a piece from the new season and it’s still going to work with previous collections.”
