There is now another reason for us to venture to Two Birds One Stone that doesn’t involve potato fritters or cheesecake brownies. Contemporary online retailer 2-Times is joining the sought-after eatery for an innovative retail installation, featuring the latest collections from Dion Lee, Raf Simons, Martin Margiela, Christopher Kane, Phoebe English and many more. Expect pops of bubblegum pink, fluffy black, latex and rubber in the carefully curated installation

Drawing inspirations from the all-white Maison Martin Margiela Womens SS13 presentation in Paris, the minimalist installation – with draped white sheets – echoes the clean Scandinavian theme of Two Birds One Stone.

To add a subtle touch of glamour to the space, Meizai & Mei + Picchi will be supplying large mirrors, chrome chandeliers, a bounce chair, wax candles and decorative lighting.

In true 2-Times style, all exhibits are available online. Each item is attached with a shop-able QR code for forward-thinking shoppers to directly safeguard their favourite pieces on their smartphones in situ. The brainchildren of 2-Times, Alex and Luke Anton hope the installation offers customers a surprising retail environment and merges the online and offline offering of 2-Times.

2-Times has previously teamed with various distinctive hospitality teams in Melbourne, including Golden Fields, Cutler & Co. and Izakaya Den.

By bringing the best of both luxury fashion and delightful edibles under the same roof, this collaboration is definitely killing two birds with one stone.
