By Emily Deacon
Well-known restaurateur, chef and sustainable food supporter, Kyle Kwong is sharing more of her cooking secrets in her latest book Simple Chinese Cooking Class. The much awaited follow up to her last best-seller Simple Chinese Cooking features over 130 recipes and step-by-step guides to classic Chinese cooking techniques. From tea-smoking to stuffing the plumpest of sticky rice parcels, Kwong makes creating traditional Chinese treats easy.
For those that wish to challenge themselves further, Simple Chinese Cooking covers more in-depth recipes like Poached Lobster with Spring Onion-ginger Sauce or Deep-fried Soft boiled Eggs.
Kwong will be holding a literary lunch at Zinc and an author talk and book signing at Readings Hawthorn on 4 July. Both events will be a great opportunity to gain knowledge from one of the country’s most celebrated chefs.
