The team behind Fitzroy’s popular Rose Street Artists’ Market has launched a new monthly spin-off inside a heritage 122-year-old wool store.
Fitzroy’s popular The Rose Street Artists’ Market has been going since 2003. Now it’s headed for Kensington with a spin-off location inside the historic Younghusband precinct, a 122-year-old wool store newly converted into a multi-use community space.
The new monthly market first debuted on February 15 with 60 stallholders selling handmade art, ceramics, clothing, jewellery, accessories and locally made produce like distilled gin and spreads. Previously, the Rose Street Market has taken over locations like Queen Victoria Market, Lygon Street and Como House in South Yarra.
Dates are confirmed for markets until July.
