Young Gun of Wine 2019 Top 50
Young Gun of Wine is a yearly competition that highlights emerging and experimental winemakers from across the country – and it's back to bring the best of the vines to Prahran Market.
The competition has been scouting and celebrating Australia’s up-and-coming winemakers since 2007, and the cream of the crop will be attending.
The recently announced 2019 top 50 finalists are bringing two wines each to the event. Wine lovers can mingle with the makers and other vino enthusiasts as they sip and swirl from 100 options.
Food will be available from Prahran Market favourites Maker & Monger and Q le Baker. Scott Pickett's Matilda will bring a fire pit to the party to serve its coal and smoke-focused dishes. If 100 wines isn’t enough, The Alps is hosting a pop-up bar with wines from Young Gun of Wine’s past winners and their greatest hits.
Tickets include all wine tasting and a complimentary wine glass from Riedel.
From 7pm to 10pm.
