You’ve heard of hot yoga, goat yoga, and even beer yoga. And now there's puppy yoga.
At Moonee Ponds yoga studio Studio 3 you can book in for a 60-minute “doga” class – a combination of vinyasa and yin yoga – in which puppies wander around the studio. Experienced yogis and newcomers alike can clear their minds and connect with their bodies, with the help of some furry friends.
All of the puppies in the sessions come from Second Chance Animal Rescue, a welfare organisation dedicated to improving the lives of local companion animals and providing them with homes.
The proceeds from Studio 3’s doga classes will all go towards the community animal hospital Second Chance is building. The December class will be the third of Studio 3’s doga sessions, and there are three more scheduled for 2019.
And maybe the classes will even facilitate adoptions – once you’ve done yoga surrounded by puppies, there's no turning back.
From 2pm to 3pm. Book here.
