Broadsheet presents a series of morning events in the garden at the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) as part of our ongoing partnership.
Join the team from Universal Practice for a yoga asana class in the gardens at the NGV and get your day off to the best start possible. Yoga Asana is a dynamic flow of postures taught with a clinical application of anatomical and physiological knowledge. In line with the Sanskrit definition of yoga "to bind", the physical postures (asanas) were designed to build physical strength, develop flexibility and increase awareness of the breath.
After class, stroll into the NGV Triennial exhibition (free entry) and discover the work of over 100 artists and designers from 32 countries. The NGV Triennial surveys the world of art and design; exploring cutting edge technologies, architecture, animation, performance, film, painting, drawing, fashion design, tapestry and sculpture. Visitors have the opportunity to look at the world and its past, present and future through the eyes of some of the most creative minds working today.
The free class starts at 8.45am. Spaces are limited, book here.
This event is now fully booked.
