Yes Chef: Ben Shewry, Alice Zaslavsky, Tony Tan and Emelia Jackson In Conversation
Four of Melbourne’s top chefs and cookbook authors are coming together in conversation with broadcaster and writer Jacinta Parsons, co-host of ABC Radio show Friday Revue.
Joining the panel discussion will be legendary chef Tony Tan; James Beard Award finalist and ABC News Breakfast regular Alice Zaslavsky; lauded Attica chef Ben Shewry; and Masterchef winner (and Australia’s unofficial Cookie Queen) Emelia Jackson. Each culinary star has been on a national book tour over the past few months to celebrate the launch of their respective new cookbooks: Tony Tan’s Asian Cooking Class, Salad for Days, Uses for Obsession: A Chef’s Memoir and Some of My Best Friends Are Cookies.
For a big finish to their individual book tours, they’re banding together to discuss what fuels their passion in the kitchen, their most memorable meals, childhood favourites, plus the secret to Shewry’s famed bolognaise.
Each of the authors’ titles will be available to buy on the day, plus you can get signed copies – just in time for Christmas.
Tickets cost $15 and include a cocktail featuring Rothwell Distillery's Jumbuck gin.
