Kicking off the Summer queer party season, Yasss Queens Park will see an all-queer line-up of DJs, entertainers, drag artists and musicians of both stage and screen take over Queens Park in Moonee Ponds - the first commercial event to ever be held on the grounds.

Last year, Poof Doof and Holmes Hall collaborated on A Lot o’ Poofs, a queer dance party at food truck park The Ascot Lot. This November, they’re teaming up again to bring queer cheer to Moonee Ponds with their event Yasss Queens Park.

Headlining the event will be a who’s who of Melbourne drag royalty, including Miss First Nations Queen Supreme Winner Cerulean, RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under alum Aubrey Haive, and The Voice Australia contestant Jimi The Kween. Poof Doof regulars—including Aysha Buffet, Max Drag Queen, Leasa Mann and Ruby Slippers—will also be making an appearance.

Music will be handled by local icons including Argonaut, Jason Conti, Hayley Maree, Fragile Future, Duchess Kay, Gaff-E and Sydney DJ Nic Holland. New Orleans-inspired Pearl of the Quarter, and woodfired Fugazi Pizza will be just two of the food and drink options carefully curated by the team.
