Queen Victoria Market
Corner of Queen Street and Therry Street, Melbourne
Price: Free entry
Warm up your Wednesday nights with mulled wine (and mulled ginger beer), Casa Nata egg tarts, French raclette, five types of paella, international street-food, specialty hot chocolate and more at the Queen Victoria Market.

It’s that time of year again: the Winter Night Market is back. Rug up and head to the sheds for comforting food, a winter wonderland and hot bevvies.

Some of the city’s best food traders, brewers, distillers, artisans and performers are taking part over the 13-week season. Feast on dumplings from different countries, decadent desserts, ooey-gooey raclette, piping-hot soup (served in a bread bowl), four-cheese pasta, paella and more, then wash it all down with craft beers, cocktails, spiked Milo, mulled ginger beer and, as always, mulled wine.

On this year’s food and drink line-up: Portuguese tart mavens Casa Nata, The Happy Mexican, That’s Amore Cheese and 400 Gradi, plus a host of returning Night Market favourites and first-time stallholders.

Artisan stalls are also making a comeback, with vintage clothes, handmade jewellery, clothing, books, art, homewares and skincare on offer.

Fire pits will dot the space so guests can stay cosy and warm, with live-music on the stage and roving entertainers, including a silent disco. Plus, tarot card readings and on-the-spot caricature drawings.

From 5pm to 10pm every Wednesday.
