Postponed: The Winter Night Market

Invalid date
Warm up your Wednesday nights with mulled wine, smoky barbeque, international street-food, specialty hot chocolate and more at the Queen Victoria Market.

Update (June 3): This event has been postponed. Check back for new dates.

It’s that time of year again: the Winter Night Market is back after a brief pause in 2020, with returning favourites and some newcomers too. Rug up and head to the sheds for comforting food, a winter wonderland and hot bevvies.

Some of the city’s best food traders, brewers, distillers, artisans and performers are taking part over the 13-week season. Feast on smoky barbeque, raclette pasta, dumplings (from different countries), spicy curries and rich desserts, then wash it all down with craft beers, cocktails and, as always, mulled wine.

Artisan stalls are also making a comeback, with handmade jewellery, clothing, books, art, homewares and skincare on offer.

Fire pits will dot the space so guests can stay cosy and warm, with live-music on the stage and roving entertainers. A festive Christmas in July activation is also returning, transforming the market sheds into a winter wonderland with lit-up Christmas trees, snow, eggnog, carollers, Santa Clauses and more.

The Winter Night Market is open from 5pm to 10pm every Wednesday from June 2 to August 25.
