Price: Free competition entry for Broadsheet Access members

Got fitness and movement goals for 2026? Or just want a heap of fun classes to keep your workouts fresh and fulfilling?

One lucky Broadsheet Access member will win a 12-month membership with Upstate – the 100 per cent women-staffed fitness brand behind some of Australia’s most energetic yoga, Pilates and boxing studios – timed with the opening of its newest space in Oakleigh.

The brand-new studio – set to open February 28 – is a one-room, 22-bed reformer Pilates hub designed as a bold, bright community space in the heart of Melbourne’s south-east. Expect signature Upstate energy, yellow-hued interiors and a location surrounded by some of Oakleigh’s best local eateries and hangouts.

To celebrate the opening, Upstate is hosting an Open House Weekend with free classes running across Saturday February 28 and Sunday March 1 – a great chance to experience the new studio, meet the instructors and try a class (or three).

The prize membership (worth $2600) gives you unlimited access to hundreds of classes each week across Upstate’s 16 Victorian studios (and counting) – plus outposts in Sydney and Brisbane.

Upstate’s yoga offering spans vinyasa-influenced Power Flow, slower (but no less challenging) Yin sessions, plus a Yin class incorporating sound bath and meditation. Reformer and hot mat Pilates classes include Strength – using heavier weights – and Burn, which focuses on toning. Boxing fans can choose from Explode for high-intensity hitting or Strength sessions centred on heavy lifting.

Log in or join Broadsheet Access today for your chance to win a 12-month Upstate membership and kick off 2026 strong with unlimited yoga, boxing and Pilates classes.

Competition runs January 22, 2026 to February 24, 2026.
