Wholeness and the Implicit Order

Sun 26th August, 2018 – Sun 4th November, 2018
Linden New Art
26 Acland Street, St Kilda
An immersive solo exhibition from Julia deVille.

At the core of Julia deVille’s artistic practice is a belief in the interconnectedness of all things and a respect for all life.

The Australian jeweller and taxidermist only uses animals in her work that have died from natural causes, and her first solo exhibition since 2014, Wholeness and the Implicit Order, also employs holography and VR.

With sound, smell and optical illusion – and even some giraffes and zebras – deVille encourages consideration of consciousness and connection in this immersive project at Linden New Art, St Kilda.

Until November 4, 2018. More information here.

Opening hours:
Tue to Fri 10am–3pm
Sat & Sun 10am–4pm
