"What is your Name" Photography Exhibition
India is so often defined as a place of vibrancy, colour and chaos, with streets filled with vendors, spice-filled stalls and throngs of tourists. New photography exhibition What is your Name takes audiences beyond the noisy, body-filled streets, showing them the less-explored side of India.
Showing work from Melbourne photographers Jasmine Blom and Michael Rees-Lightfoot, What is your Name is a collaborative exhibition from the pair's travels through both India and Sri Lanka. Through still life and street documentary the photos explore the tranquil, easygoing nature of the two countries, capturing serene moments and the philosophy embedded in religious rituals.
Refreshments will be provided on opening night and the artists will be on hand to mingle with guests and expand upon their work.
What is your Name opens on May 8 6pm–9pm and runs until May 10.
