Walhalla Vinter Ljusfest 2017
Victoria’s historic gold-mining township of Walhalla lights up this August in celebration of winter with the return of the annual Vinter Ljusfest. The Swedish-inspired festival encourages visitors to explore Walhalla’s winter offerings with nightly light, projection and sound offerings that transform the town during the darkest month of the year.
Installations will be accompanied by special events including live entertainment, a ghost tour and the Ljusfest Light Train – an after-dark train journey down Stringer’s Creek Gorge to illuminate the passage with colours and lights.
See Walhalla Vinter Ljusfest for more information.
