Truffle Melbourne Festival
Whether you’re a truffle tragic or simply truffle-curious, the Queen Victoria Market’s Truffle Melbourne Festival has truffle options for all tastes, and all budgets.
The free two-day festival of funghi will take over the market’s A Shed with some of the city’s best chefs popping in to share their truffle secrets. There’ll be truffle-laden pizzas by Lazerpig, truffle toasties and pasta from Fatto, truffle bao from Wonderbao, plus truffle-topped wagyu burgers, truffle crepes and oozy truffle raclette. Plus, the Truffle Truck will be on-site serving truffle dishes all day long.
Chefs appearing throughout the weekend include Stokehouse's Ollie Hansford, Bistro Gitan's Luke Gardiner and Mark Ebbels of Tarrawarra Estate.
There'll also be a bunch of DJs and live music, including DJ JNETT from 5pm on Saturday afternoon. Grab a truffled-up bubbles, cocktail, beer or cider at the Truffle Bar and settle in.
Saturday from 9am to 7pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm.
