Transitions Film Festival
The world is at a turning point; industry, technology and society are transforming – and offering more opportunities than ever before – while environmental and economic challenges threaten to derail the whole operation.
The Transitions Film Festival, now in its eighth year, explores the quagmires facing humanity and aims inspire audiences to find sustainable, innovative ways forward.
This year’s line-up includes 28 feature documentaries, 24 of which are Australian premieres. The festival opens with Point of No Return, an adventure epic about the first all-electric aeroplane flight around the world. It closes with Serengeti Rules, a visual masterpiece following a group of scientists uncovering the rules that govern nature, in the most remote places on earth.
