Postponed: Tiny House Festival
This event has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
The tiny-house movement is more than just an Insta-gimmick: it's a reflection of our deep-seated desire to simplify.
To feed the increased interest in downsizing, founder of the online community Tiny Houses Australia is hosting a second annual festival dedicated to tiny living at Bendigo Racecourse. Last year more than 8500 people attended.
This year there’ll be 51 tiny houses on display and at the DIY Village, you can tour converted buses, vans, caravans and other houses on wheels – and speak to their owners about how “going tiny” has benefited them. Plus, some of the country’s top tiny-house-building companies will be on site to answer your questions.
There’ll also be a line-up of local and international speakers including John Weisbarth and Zack Giffin from Netflix show Tiny House Nation, and pioneer of the modern tiny-house movement, Jay Shafer.
