Tim Winton On Toxic Masculinity
This March, acclaimed Australian author Tim Winton will join The School Of Life to deliver a powerful meditation on lost boys and the whirlwind that is toxic masculinity.
Winton combines a specially commissioned soundscape, photography and dialogue to create an hour-long event that will explore the challenges that mark the journey to adulthood for many boys.
Winton is renowned as one of the Australia's most acclaimed writers, thinkers and essayists. He has published 28 books for both adults and children, and has been named a Living Treasure by the National Trust. He has also won the Miles Franklin Award four times and has twice been shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
The School of Life is a global organisation dedicated to developing emotional intelligence, and enhancing life skills. Founded by British philosopher Alain de Botton in 2008, the company applies philosophy, psychology and culture to everyday life.
