This exclusive two-hour cooking class at the Otao Kitchen Asian Cooking School in Richmond (offered via RedBalloon), is a truly local experience. Using ingredients sourced from the nearby Victoria Street Markets, an expert chef will take you through the classic dish’s inspiration drawn from Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese culture.
From there it’s tips on how to make the perfect dough, place your ingredients and how to mould and shape your dumplings for maximum flavour. End your class with a glass of sparkling wine and feast on the group’s collective culinary efforts. (Guests can also choose to BYO for an additional $5 per person.)
