The iconic event returns this November. With more than 280 exhibitors selling their wares at The Big Design Market 2025, you can get all your festive shopping done in one place – and spend your cash with local and independent designers.

The Big Design Market is back for another year at the Royal Exhibition Building, and as ever it’ll be chock full of stalls offering everything from food and drink to homewares, ceramics, fashion, jewellery, toys, tech accessories, books, art and stationery.

This year’s food and drink stallholders include Broadsheet favourites Wonder Pies, Six-Eyed Scorpion chilli oils, Non non-alc drinks, Acide pickles and Cannoleria pastries.

Over on the non-edible side of things, you’ll find brands like Adele Macer Ceramics, Dogboy Knives, Gliese 504 scrunchies, Lost Towels, Ricordino prints and Tara Whalley fashion.

As well as all the stalls and food vendors, this year’s Big Design Market boasts an art installation from local painter-slash-florist Emma Morgan, a dedicated kids’ play area – with lots of creative and crafty activities for little ones – and prizes on offer all weekend.

Friday night will also see a live fashion runway featuring more than 20 independent labels.
