Tesselaar Tulip Festival 2018
The Dandenong Ranges are alive with the magic and colour of tulips, and you're invited. The Tesselaar Tulip Festival is back for its 65th year, set among five acres of 900,000 tulips. Each weekend of the festival there will be a new tulip-focused theme.
Turkish, Dutch and Irish culture – all of which have a connection to the tulip – will be celebrated over three weekends of music, art and food. If you don’t fancy the AFL Grand Final madness, then the Food, Wine and Jazz weekend is a great alternative.
Throughout the month guests can enjoy a Mad Hatters High Tea in the High Tea Salon. There are four sittings per day and bookings are required.
Younger family members will be looked after, too. During Wonderland week, catch performances of Alice and the White Rabbit, and Superhero Children’s Week offers tractor rides, petting zoos, arts, crafts and games. Get Active Week includes performances by Peter Rabbit, trips to the fairy hollow, storytelling and face painting.
From 10am to 5pm.
