TarraWarra Estate’s resident winemaker Clare Halloran and The Barre’s sous chef Dario Mannino are joining forces to bring you a Sunday feast that’ll unfold in four acts, accompanied by hand-picked, estate-grown wine.

Guests arriving at The Barre – which is situated underneath the famous Arts Centre Melbourne spire – will receive a glass of pinot noir rosé upon arrival.

The food menu stays true to The Barre’s passion for celebrating seasonal produce, with a nod to the flavours and textures of Asian cuisine. Start with scallops with coriander and lime, followed by soy-marinated braised beef short rib with pickled carrots, served with sweet potato dal and cucumber raita. Finish on a sweet note with a pear-chocolate pudding with wine reduction. Diners will be treated to TarraWarra Estate chardonnay, pinot noir and the spicy barbera (a crowd-pleasing red).

Clare Halloran will share stories from her 20 years of winemaking experience, and Dario Mannino will chat with diners about the inspiration behind her dishes during lunch.
