The Australian Ballet Presents Symphony in C
This season, The Australian Ballet is performing the choreography of one of ballet's most demanding and revered figures.
George Balanchine’s Symphony in C glorifies dancers, but gives them their toughest assignments and requires ultimate commitment. The mile-a-minute tutu ballet is one of his most beloved creations.
This all-thrills bill features Symphony in C, alongside a program of classical party pieces and modern one-act works by up-and-coming choreographers Alice Topp and Richard House.
Symphony in C will be performed at Arts Centre Melbourne from August 24 to September 2.
