Summer Night Market
After two long years, Queen Victoria Market’s ever-popular Summer Night Market finally returns to its usual spot on our yearly calendar.
The annual summer market series is back for 13 weeks, with the same diverse range of food stalls, pop-up bars, artisan crafts and local musicians we've come to expect, as well as new additions to the program.
Returning food favourites include The Cypriot Kitchen and its haloumi chips, American-style barbeque from the folks at Bigger Than Texas, ooey-gooey raclette from Frencheese, Taki’s Balls making loukoumades (Greek doughnuts), and Coconut Hub pressing fresh sugarcane juice to cool you down in the balmy heat.
Two stages are being set up to showcase local music, with a DJ out on Queen Street and an acoustic stage in the open-air market sheds. The Spirit Zone is making its market debut – find out what lies in your future from clairvoyants, psychics and fortune tellers. You can also browse second-hand books and records or chat with Victorian authors at the Book Nook.
Every Wednesday from 5pm to 10pm. Entry is free.
