Summer Bottomless Brunch at Jackalope Hotel

Sun 5th December, 2021 – Sun 30th January, 2022
12:00pm – 3:00pm
166 Balnarring Road Merricks North 3926
Price: $130 – $180
Head down to the peninsula for mushroom tartlets, crumpets with salmon caviar and scorched Wagyu brisket, plus free-flowing Bloody Marys, Mimosas and spritzes overlooking a vineyard.

Melbourne’s home to plenty of boozy brunches, but you’ll have to leave the city to enjoy one of the most luxe versions.

Mornington Peninsula designer hotel Jackalope is hosting bottomless brunch overlooking its adjoining vineyard every Sunday of December and January. All 600 slots were booked out when it was first announced, but now 40 new seats have opened up each Sunday (though they’re sure to go fast).

On the menu: prawn cocktail, oysters with caramelised shallot mignonette, crumpets with cured trout and smoked salmon caviar, heirloom tomatoes with stracciatella and basil, blue swimmer crab with yuzu curd, mushroom tartlets and a platter of cured meats, cheeses, pickles and relishes. Each person also gets their choice of scorched Wagyu brisket with smoked egg yolk and potato mousse; confit salmon with beetroot and rye; or a truffle omelette with goats feta and watercress emulsion.

It’s $130 for all of the above with bottomless tea, coffee, juices and mocktails, and for an extra $50 you’ll get bottomless Bloody Marys, spritzes, Mimosas, beer and wine.

From 12pm to 3pm.
