This market is happening at Studio Local, a 1930s Northcote warehouse, and will feature the work of budding artists and designers.
Still Life by stylist Stephanie Stamatis and photographer Lauren Bamford will be selling limited-edition prints of everyday household objects. The prints are striking for their composition and simplicity.
Broadsheet will also be there selling its Broadsheet Melbourne Food and Broadsheet Sydney Food books. They're essential guides to more than 100 of the cities’ best retailers and producers. Broadsheet’s stall will also stock the Broadsheet Melbourne Cookbook and Broadsheet Sydney Cookbook. They contain more than 80 recipes from Melbourne and Sydney's best chefs and restaurateurs, so you can whip up some of the cities' best breakfasts, lunches, dinners, drinks and desserts.
The market is also offering classic cocktails from The Everleigh Bottling Co and slices of New York-style pizza from Connie’s Pizza, both owned by bartender Michael Madrusan. Connie’s Pizza will be serving three types (cheese, pepperoni and Sicilian), usually sold out of a hole-in-the-wall stand in Russell Street bar Heartbreaker. The pizzas are made with authentic San Marzano tomatoes, direct from Italy, and a combination of pecorino and Scamorza bianco mozzarella from Melbourne’s That’s Amore Cheese.
