In collaboration with roving meditation studio A-Space, the National Gallery of Victoria is hosting a morning meditation session in line with its exhibition, KAWS: Companionship in the Age of Loneliness.
The cult New York-based pop artist is perhaps best known for his signature limited-edition vinyl toys and sculptures. But, situated in the NGV’s Federation Court, is the largest bronze statue KAWS has created to date.
On February 22, A-Space founder Manoj Dias will lead a guided meditation beneath it, accompanied by harpist and singer Liana Perillo. There’ll be space for 350 people and no previous meditation experience is necessary.
The exhibition will open to those who attend the meditation at 9.45am.
From 9am to 9.45am.
