Following Starward’s collaboration with the coffee roaster last year, the distiller is serving six coffee-infused cocktails created in collaboration with the St Ali team.
Try the Dali Drip, made with filtered coffee, maple syrup, wattleseed and whipped cream. Or if you’re after something fresher, go for the Count Camillo, made with cascara-infused MCG gin, Campari, Maidenii sweet vermouth and orange.
On the booze-free menu: a Cascara Fresco made with cascara, peach tonic and rose. (Cascara is the reddish-purple fruit that surrounds coffee beans, so you’ll still get your caffeine hit.)
Food-wise, the usual Starward snacks are available, from mixed olives to a Portuguese spiced-mackerel pate. For something more substantial you can also order from St Ali’s cafe next door. Go for a Royale with cheese, or corn fritters with poached eggs and halloumi.
Starward’s whisky and cocktail masterclasses will continue as usual at the new venue.
