St Kilda Repair Cafe At Port Phillip Eco Centre

Sun 12th November, 2017
2:00pm – 5:00pm
Port Phillip Eco Centre
55A Blessington Street, St KildaFix your broken stuff rather than throw it out.
A new repair cafe is starting up in St Kilda on the second Sunday of every month (except January) from November 12.
Repair cafes are community-run meeting places where volunteers guide you through repairing your own broken household items. The volunteers won’t be fixing your things for you, though. Instead they'll teach you how to do it yourself.
Port Phillip Eco Centre is hosting the monthly meetings with the help of the Jewish Ecological Coalition.
Organisers are looking for volunteers to help out with the sessions, especially someone trained as an electrician or with electrical-tagging skills. To volunteer, visit stkildarepaircafe.org.au/.
There’s no charge for repairs but a small donation to the organisers is appreciated.
From 2pm–5pm.
