St Kilda Festival 2025
Every year, nearly 350,000 punters flock to the St Kilda foreshore for one of Australia’s biggest free music festivals. Now in its 44th year, St Kilda Festival is back with a weekend-long celebration of Australia’s diverse local music scene and community. There will be over 100 artists across 10 stages – more than ever before.
For the second time, Saturday will be dedicated to First Nations talent, followed by The Big Festival Sunday line-up.
Saturday’s First Peoples First program is headlined by proud Gumbaynggirr/Bundjalung woman and rising indie-pop star Jem Cassar-Daley. Also performing: Amos Roach, hip-hop artist Crooked TP and musical duo Charlie Needs Braces.
On Sunday, Midnight Oil frontman Peter Garrett and his band The Alter Egos are set to headline the afternoon with a mix of recent tracks and Oil’s greatest hits. Pop sensation Cub Sport will take over the main stage in the evening with favourites from their two chart-topping albums. Plus, catch rock band Painters and Dockers, funk collective Playlunch, singer-songwriter Sarah Blasko, indie singer Sycco and more.
There’s also pleny of food and market stalls to explore throughout the day along with workshops to get involved in, and dance, cultural activities and street performers to watch.
