Slowpoke Diner Sundays

Collingwood’s Slowpoke Lounge & Lookout is well-known for near 360-degree views, Martinis and McDonald’s-style cheeseburgers. The rooftop bar has just launched Slowpoke Diner Sundays, where every Sunday from March 22 to June 7 (excluding Easter Sunday, April 5) from 2pm to 9pm, a different chef will take over the kitchen, offering their spin on a burger and fries, matched with a unique drink by the Slowpoke team.

Narit Kimsat of Yang Thai kicked off the series with a crumbed Thai green curry prawn burger with beer-battered chips and tamarind ketchup that the team matched with a Thai-pirinha cocktail, a riff on a Caipirinha. 

On Sunday March 29, the Bar Liberty team will bring a chicken Kyiv burger with tarragon mayo, plus potato skins with dill and cultured cream. On Sunday April 26, it’s Taquito’s Mexican cheeseburger with salsa-drenched chips and corn ribs. And on Sunday May 3, Leonardo’s Pizza Palace will serve up a bacon, egg and cheese burger with yolk jam and loaded fries.
