Séance at Temperance Hall

Temperance Hall
199 Napier Street, South Melbourne
A three-course feast, art installations and performances inspired by a Victorian séance.

Phillip Adams, founder of the dance and art company BalletLab, is collaborating with La Luna Bistro for a night of dancing, food and art to create a reimagining of a Victorian séance.

Guests will experience an art installation and live performance by the BalletLab group in the Victorian-era Temperance Hall’s second-floor gallery and main hall.

Bespoke artwork created by Adams will also be available to take home.

The Victorian séance will end with an elaborate Victorian-inspired three-course feast by Adrian Richardson and his team of chefs from acclaimed La Luna Bistro.

Adams’s career in dance and the arts spans 30 years with a 2018 Australia Council Award for Dance under his belt as well. Adams created BalletLab in 1998, combining the mediums of music, design, architecture, cinema and live arts to create unique performances.

Starts at 7pm. Sold out.
