Rockpool Bar & Grill Pop-Up
Rockpool Bar & Grill is popping up in Alfred Place, an historic Melbourne laneway with Art Deco touches, for festive weekday lunches in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
You’ll recognise menu favourites from Neil Perry’s Southbank restaurant such as freshly shucked oysters with mignonette; spanner crab spaghetti with chilli, garlic and parsley; and American-style cheeseburgers and chips.
The menu can be shared between groups of more than eight for $85 a head, or dishes can be bought individually and are all priced under $55. There are also $9 sides, including Rockpool’s fat hand-cut chips, and desserts such as crème caramel and passionfruit pavlova.
For a last-minute Christmas shopping, there’s also a range of Perry’s cookbooks available, as well as champagne wine and spirits, including Four Pillars Rockpool Gin and Four Pillars Christmas Gin.
The pop-up will open Monday to Friday from 12pm for lunch and stay open into the evening for after-work drinks. Groups of eight or more should give 24-hours notice.
